Nova – Dynamic Pose Sculpt
High poly sculpt for 3D Printing
This is a commissioned character for a currently unreleased comic book.
First was understanding the style that the client wanted to work with, as such I created 3 different stylised head sculpts fitting the provided reference images and initial style guide.
Once chosen I began work on a pose with the client, creating 6 different block out poses based on feedback. Once the pose was chosen I began working on the full sculpt in ZBrush, taking the original blockout from Blender as a base.
Adjustments were made to the finished sculpt so that the 3D printed model could properly support its own weight.
